Speaker: Ronald Spector, Professor of History and International Affairs, GW.In August 1945, the global conflagration known as World War II finally came to an end in the Asia Pacific. This unprecedented total war as well as its multiple endings have profoundly reshaped the fate of peoples in this vast region. This lecture series introduces the latest research by GW faculty members, graduate students, and other scholars in order to shed new light on this crucial period of recent history.
